Posture Without Forcing It

Posture Without Forcing It

Good posture is not stiffness. It is the result of breath, ribs, pelvis, shoulder placement, and strength that knows when to soften.

At Barre Muse, progress is built through repetition that feels attentive rather than rushed. The goal is to understand what the body is doing, then return often enough for that understanding to become natural.

Use this note as a companion to your course library: a small piece of context before class, or a calm reminder on the days when consistency needs to feel simple.

Posture improves when support becomes available from the feet, pelvis, ribs, and upper back. It is less about holding yourself stiffly and more about organizing effort intelligently.
